when they learned that the Parish Attorney’s Office paid protestors that were arrested after being observed on video obstructing a United States Highway during the summer protest of 2016.
If they had any local people out there it was very few. I remember a friend of mine used to (still does) run into this black dude who lives somewhere off of airline. around Florida blvd.
After all the protest happened he talked to that black dude and the black dude told him it was crazy because all of these people just showed up.. and according to him they were "asking to get run down by someone they way they were all in the road". He said him and was of his boys fired up the pit, and sat their while they were drinking beer laughing at them.
They were laughing because they knew it wasn't any baton rouge people doing the shite they were doing. And they were sure someone was going to get mowed down.
2016 was an election year. During election years nothing is as it seems.

There would be a metro mayor and local bodies equivalent to the NYC boroughs. So, the new city would be EBR, E. Felciana, Livingston, and Ascension. T
This is the answer, everyone in the metro area should have a voice within BR. It will never happen though, and if you mention it now it'll be racism.

ExxonMobil. Their large downtown refinery makes downtown growth impossible.
The National news. The "cops hate black people" narrative is too blame for current rude in crime.
PI lawyers. Ignorant people love them and they love ignorant people.

Imagine how different the Stirling protests would have looked under Broome.

Well, if she handled it then St George would have won at a 75-25 rate and the people bankrolling the legal fight would have been Mussolini’ed.

The 5 million dollar payment to the Sterling family without ever allowing a single argument assigning any culpability to the actions of Sterling that led to his lawful death is a nice added bonus.
This still pisses me off to no end. Sterling was a convicted sex offender carrying a gun. So he was in possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He was in the middle of committing a felony and his family got rewarded 5 million because he’s black and was killed by white cops while committing a crime.
Other cops died b/c of what he did.
Poor completely innocent girl just got murdered in cold blood by two blacks and her family got rewarded by getting their stuff stolen. Family will get nothing, but a memo issued by SWB to stay away from bad parts of BR…..
Can’t make this shite up.

And as Destroyah has shown in New Orleans, a judgment can exist but won’t get paid off unless they allocate money in the budget to pay it.
Sterling’s child molesting son and the rest of his family could have waited until Doomsday after winning a case get they paid these frickers $5m to avoid trial.

Oh, I’ll still buy the Advocate.
Every time I barbecue, that is. Nothing makes such great fodder for my chimney as the Advocate Metro section.
