get what you are saying but it's the name of the team. So we have to call them by that name.

Doesn't work that way. If the crimson Tide switched to the "blowjobs", I wouldn't all of a sudden hate blowjobs.

Language is important and if adults are going to have meaningful discussions about issues then we need language we can agree on and we can't allow jackasses to highjack it.

This would be a great selling point for me.

They should call the place landowner estates

He's taking a problem, using rhetoric that will undoubtedly make it worse, and exploiting frustration and outrage to his advantage. He'd rather be a 3rd rate "community organizer" than an actual positive influence.

I don't think it is any secret that a lot of African Americans are pissed about the cards that they've been dealt in life. I grew up poor, stupid, and ugly in a rural Louisiana map dot. I can certainly understand being frustrated with the cards you've been dealt in life. I can't understand folding your arms and complaining about it instead of going out there and trying to change your situation.

Smarter people are not going to fall for Fat Gary's brand of bullshite.

I think it's absolutely depressing what they're doing to the land and house. Buttttttt he had the money to buy the house and land so not like I have any say in it... Just super depressing the family would agree to sell the home knowing what it would become. But king cash wins again.

Hardly. The middle passage only killed 2 1/2 million absolute tops.

Like I said chattel slavery in America was much less harsh and therefore your mortality rates would be much lower. Now Millie did die in Caribbean slavery and south American slavery. But probably less than died in Africa during capture by other African tribes.

He's saying they're not classical liberals. Classic liberalism is about seeking truth through an open exchange of honest ideas. By that measure, these low brow progressives are nowhere near liberals. They have a "truth" embedded in their brains and believe anyone who disagrees that "truth" should be destroyed.

And this is why we're e-bros, even though you're wrong about everything politically.

But idiots like this shouldn't get to share the L word, it's a fricking disgrace.

I agree. Not for racial reasons but for historic value.

But it's a hot area of town and a higher end neighborhood being developed on the grounds would mean that the historic plantation house will likely be maintained and cared for for a long time.

Yeah, he's the arsonist as well as the fireman. Unfortunately he's got a small force of eager agitators and poorly educated following.

He started some shite on FB a while back and when some black people started calling him out, he lost his fricking mind on them.

I have a suggestion for MM...

If she really wants to "save" this plantation. She and her husband should beg her friends and church to help her raise the money to get it! That way, when she finally has it and can't afford the mortgage, taxes, upkeep and it is a general pain in her arse, she can "give it back" to the community...

Thoughts?

The author should be embarrassed. They should be worried more about their own household, and a lot less about developers and their housing projects.

But the Liberal way is to whine and cry about fricking everything

This is absolutely true. Modern left wing foot soldiers are more like progressive totalitarians. They are not actually liberal.

Real liberals wouldn't use political correctness to fight the truth or silence dissent. They value logic too much to pull out accusations of racism, sexism, etc. just for their explosive emotional impact.

It's amazing how we manipulate words who's definitions have been irrefutable in the past. Apparently now the definition of "racism" involves a formula.
