Pretty obvious the damage in BR is worse than you think.
Yes in some areas it’s quite bad.
However, unless you’ve walked the streets of where I live 4x per day like I have for the past few days you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Should be getting all the estimates return to service tomorrow. Crews know the damages and will be busting arse

Hopped in the car and saw a bucket truck followed by a cop. They made the turn right onto Jefferson. The entire Town Center side has power but the other side with Walgreens is out

Map is updated, Towne Center and half of Bocage now apparently are up. Hopefully the rest of Jefferson and Corporate are soon.

Just about all of Corporate and most of Old Hammond is now live. I have no idea how they managed to fix that disaster of a stretch on Old Hammond near Brentwood in one day.
Jefferson Terrace, Westminster, and a lot of Tara still red, though.

Demco seems to be doing some work, if their map is correct. Down to 33% out in EBR

Funny how Bocage and CCL are always the first to get turned back on.

It’s absurd when no updates are provided.
Agreed. Left in the dark by Ida, left in the dark again by ENTERGY.

They haven’t. The only thing they’ve done is cut up a tree. Didn’t even haul it off. Power lines still in road.

So Entergy is now claiming that most of EBR will have power by next Wednesday September 8th

Still dark in Mid City around Catholic High and Saint Josephs. Haven't seen many trucks in the area

I sure hope it’s well before that my god

I hope so. There hasn’t been a bucket truck yet in the downed line area that’s blocked off.

Our area doesn’t even look that bad, as far as line damage. Spoke to someone on the phone from Entergy and she told me the reason we don’t see anyone is that are working underground.

I’m in Highland Creek(Starting & Highland) … half the neighborhood got lights … unfortunately I’m not one the lucky ones… been without power since 7:50 Sunday evening… no real visible damage nowhere
