Multiple threads of this topic throughout the years always produces one invariable result:

It is all subjective. It’s like asking people what’s the greatest food dish, band and movie of all time.

Enjoy wherever you are. Life is way too short to be splitting hairs about where is the best place to live. Not everyone who retires moves to the mountains or the beach.

Heck, I know people that don’t even possess a passport and have zero intention of visiting a foreign country. I don’t get it because I feel traveling (mostly international) is one of the best things we can do to spend our time and money wisely, but to each his own.
