Amazon apparently does, as well as all the other states that they think need distribution centers. Except for loser states like Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas.

Where’s any Arizona city ranked in the likelihood of getting HQ2? Pretty low, if anywhere.
Distribution centers are cute, but child’s play compared to the grand prize.
And yes. Yes I can. I can even have one of those creepy amazon cameras put in so they can get into my house and leave stuff inside, but I don’t want to do that.
Plus the corporate office here.

We just got the Amazon treasure trucks as well in PHX. I haven't checked those out yet.

I can definitely see Dallas or Austin as viable options. I think Austin is currently the most likely of any city to land it.

I could hire people to go to the store, shop for me and themselves and their family and it would still be cheaper than Amazon fresh.
And our local Grocery stores already have Store to door service, and even if you tripled their fee would be cheaper than Amazon fresh.

Well why would they have another HQ on the western side of the country? Makes more sense to have one more central or eastern. I know AZ submitted their application for it...but highly doubt we would get it.
But there isn't a chance that LA would get the new HQ. This is the reaction of the Amazon board when they saw LA's application...
