Not sure what your implying but there is ignorance and then there is overt racism. Both happen all the time on here. Not saying it's right. But when it comes in the form of an attack on another poster then I believe that is when a person should be banned.

I only made it 9 pages into the other thread. It was still boring when I left it. No idea what happened - I thought it was deleted because the original story was unsubstantiated at the time, which is why I started this one with a real source. This post was edited on 2/8/17 at 4:27 pm

Exactly my point. I have been in the bar when he got into it with a friend(very outspoken racist trumper btw). It happens when old men drink alot. I'm not defending whether or not he got ornery with a chick in a seat he perceived as his....
But..... What if he said "never give your seat up for a count!"

frick no. It's the typical pile-on what everyone is hating on today mentality. Fraternity boy type shite.
Sammy's has admittedly shrunk portions down(this was 7-8 years ago) and increased prices on various shite about $1. But they are no more expensive than the other casual places I mentioned in the other thread in the event they DO ban Judge Erwin. It's on par with Chimes, Jones Creek Cafe, Phils Errster Bar, Roux 61, Willie's, Acme, etc.
For most menu items it's barely just the Tip(haha) more than George's and Poor Boy LLoyds.

I guess it depends on the types of bars and types of regulars.
For example, does anyone think John Mahaffey (tv news guy) or Smiley Anders (newspaper columnist) ever got banned from their regular watering holes?

That shite goes out the window when someone is 10 drinks in.
But yes banned is bad. That's why I was asking if he was banned or kicked out. Being banned is probably pretty rare but cut off isn't uncommon.

Me and the guy who used to work there who looked like Knoxville got into it one night because I wouldn't move out of this old frickers spot.
I'd been on the go for 72 hours or so and had literally circumnavigated the fricking globe in that time span. All I wanted was an order of hush puppies and four or five bourbons and he asked me to move. I said I wouldn't be long and Knoxville threw a shite fit.
