So they used all the kits they had to test people sent by their doctor because they show the symptoms and we're still told that there are no cases in EBR?

Tests require 24-48 hours to come back. You’ll see an explosion of cases in Baton Rouge in the next couple days.

EBR will be on the board by the end of the week
It takes a few days for processing

Yesterday they tested 200. I’m guessing 50-70 have the virus.

They are surprisingly efficient there, too. In the 45 minutes I was in line, they probably tested 30 people. The line was long but it moved constantly. That’s a lot of people being tested, who show symptoms, in a short period of time. The BR area numbers are going to explode soon.

Tests for non-serious cases seem like a waste of resources. We need to accept that this has spread.

And they say 80% don't even show symptoms. So that means there are over 1000 people running around looking for toilet paper that have the virus.

So people in line to test may not have it but get it from someone in line?

Well truth be told...… it was only a dozen, yes 12 total tests is all they had in the initial shipment to every parish. That's all they got the first round and more on the way. that's why they have been so selective on using them only if they fit certain criteria. Just no test kits available for 350 million Americans. Not like we seen this coming. they have to be mass produced with quality controls that they will actually work!!!

TDs how did it work? Did you have to have an order in your hand or was your name on a list?? I mean you couldn't just drive up I assume?

Even if all 200 tests prove positive, what changes?
