When everyone sees that the actual mortality rate for this thing is way, way, way under 1%, maybe people will stop freaking out and we can return to our normal lives sooner.

If the mortality rate stays low, we will be more fortunate than the folks were in 1918 when the Spanish Flu virus mutated and became more deadly. Thus thing is fluid. You have to prepare for worst case.

If you're not feeling well but don't get tested to know for sure, just stay home. There's no reason to go out and about and expose others to the virus if you have it.

Oh, totally. I plan to be here at home for a while.

I'm 29, no underlying conditions. I don't have a "general" doctor so I'm just going to ride it out for now since I wouldn't even know who to call and don't want to take up resources. I feel mostly fine. Coughing and a bit mildly congested in the eyes/nose. Nothing I'd even worry about normally, but I'm staying home 100%. Temperature is normal.

Another concern is giving it to my SO, since he can't just work from home. Then again, his job involves being around foreign fleet/people every single day so I guess it doesn't matter.
