As of now the entire Bolton’s building is safe. The building owners have not been contacted for any sale of their building.

For the record all of the shite hole bars in that area are full of pretentious douches bags anyway.
All the local bars that have been around for decades and are cornerstones for that neighborhood?

Thank God for immenant domain. They should plan on future widening and take a little more.
How about family owned Boltons Pharmacy that has served that area for generations?
You're a real cool guy there fella.

I'm sorry what. That place is delicious.
It has aged horribly. Merchant runs laps around it.

Ivars might be the least pretentious bar in BR. What a ridiculous take

The Merchant is a great spot for food. Georges is a casual mainstay. Chelsea's is now an upscale restaurant(Kalurah Grill) And Duvics is still a place for diversity to assemble. You're a dickbutt.
As for Ivars, it's my favorite in the area. We had 3 beers, order of sliders, and fries from Ivars on Sunday. Delicious and under $20.
The old impressions of this place in particular are comical but need to fade faster. It's been 4 yrs now. Drinks are very afforadable, people are friendly and 21-71 in age, and food is awesome.

I’m all for taking whatever property necessary to ease traffic. However, I wish someone would explain how this is going to help. The bridge is still a choke point. Without widening the bridge, it will still be a clusterfrick as cars slow down to merge at the bridge. If anyone thinks this is a viable solution, I seriously doubt it.

That's my concern as well. Are they going to destroy the Merchant District for the sake of a project that's not going to really do much to relieve traffic congestion?

The whole thing sounds Like they are doing it just so they can say they did something. It strikes me as a colossal waste of money.

No dumbass. The choke point is when eastbound I-10 goes from 2 lanes on the bridge to 1 lane due to the Washington St. exit.
ETA It's spelled eminent for Christ's sake.

People bitch that we have an inadequate interstate system then once the time comes to make big changes to better this system, people fight it because it means a few long time things have to relocate.
You gotta sacrifice things to better it overall.

Please explain the stupidity genius. I stated it won’t ease traffic by adding lanes that lead to a choke point. The bridge isn’t getting wider. The same volume of traffic will be using the same bridge. Please use your enormous brain power to explain how this will work.
I’ll wait.

Although I am sure they will find a new location, it won't be the same.
Hopefully it will be a place with better acoustics. Last time I ate there I had to yell across the table to talk to my wife. This was at like 6:30.

Ok dumb arse.... westbound isn’t going over the bridge anymore? fricking retard.

They need to nut up and build a toll loop.
