50 year white guy that wears Jordon’s and likes rap. Also wear cowboy boots and like country music too. Both kind of kicks are cool with me depending on my mood.

And call others gay for not liking said fatass. That’s really the kicker.

I generally agree with the Gnome that most basketball shoes are ugly and not something I would wear, but I do love the retro high top look of the Jordan 1. I have 8 pairs that I’ll wear from time to time. Also have a few baby/toddler pairs that my son has worn, one is currently serving as my putter head over.

I still have two pairs of these from my college days back in the eighties. One pair still in the box- never worn. I think it might be time to break them in after about 40 years (I can't believe someone is actually asking almost $1200.00 for these on ebay!)

The soles have either crumbled or theyre going to crumble after the first step. Theyre not going to be wearable.

I'll have to be honest. Im probably in just about the same shape as the shoes are at this point. I'd probably crumble after the first two steps on a basketball court too these days!

Most of the modern ones look like they should make you fly or something. They're mostly all big arse shoes.

A man bitching about what another grown man wears, an OT classic.

I’ve actually gotten into wearing AJ’s and SB Dunks. It actually started as a joke because a lot of the younger guys at work are obsessed with them, and I told them I’m gonna start wearing them, so they’d go out of style.

I own 4 pairs, and plan to get more. They are not expensive as far as shoes go. Hell, they were $125 a pair in 1986, and are still basically $125-$175 a pair. I don’t like high tops, so I’m not sure if I keeping the Sonics.

My favorite pair are my gold pair, because it’s almost the same color as the classic LSU gold.

I was styling at the Derby party in my red SB Dunks and rose jacket

I wouldn't want to be caught dead wearing basketball shoes. I mean some thug would probably kill me and take them, so problem solved.
