Perhaps if they pulled a Hamsterdam. But these areas still have some innocents in the midst of these hellholes. I doubt cops like to see the kids and those too poor to get out but are honest folks get shot or whatever else may happen. If a cop doesn't give a shite about them, they need to reevaluate their choice of career. Perhaps a mall cop in the suburbs.

How about this: the cops do their jobs, without shooting unarmed black guys? It’s not an either/or proposition. Everyone wants the police to do their job. If training needs to be beefed up, then beef it up. Police work is tough. No question. Increase their pay, thereby attracting higher quality applicants. But cops CAN do their jobs without violating the rights of blacks.

This is the problem. The reason why cops don't want to do their job is the Assholes like this. The cops in the article are pissed they are being watched. If the "good" cops left the dirty ones out to dry instead of covering for them they wouldn't have issues

I don't know much about those. Catille was a bad one, but rice pointed an airsoft gun at them that had the end piece taken off so it looked like a real gun.

Police Officer make on average a million contacts a day. If 13% of the nation is black then that would be approximately 130,000 Contact’s a day with black people. You named less than 15 people killed over how many years? That’s a very low percentage
