Tough read here. Glad the puppies are safe, but still hoping they find this guy...

quote:

The fisherman saw a man stop on a bridge in St. Martin Parish on Sunday and toss a bag into the bayou. Thinking it was litter, he picked up the bag and found the puppies inside.

frick the guy who did this. Plenty of people will take puppies, especially labs, off your hands, and you throw them in a bayou to drown in a bag? Scum.

Never trust? My opinions on someone like that don't even approach considering the term trust.

Don’t know if I believe this story. Wouldn’t a bag of 8 puppies sink if they are concentrated in a bag and not swimming? If he thought it was trash, he wouldn’t be rushing over to get it just in time.

or children.

I'm not a fighter and avoid it when possible but I'll check knuckles over animal abuse. There was a feller at our deer camp who thought it was funny to shoot coyotes in the gut so they would suffer. That didn't end well for him.

There are these videos of dudes in like india pulling tiny drowned puppies out of rivers and giving them CPR on Facebook that get MILLIONS of views.

Almost all of them are people who drown puppy after puppy until they save one trying to go viral.

Wouldn't doubt if this was fake too.

Awfully convenient.

did you learn this the hard way or something? I don't associate with people that abuse animals so trusting them really isn't an issue

Puppies that aren't even 5 weeks yet can't weigh more than a pound or two, and the big dog food bag that is pictured in the article is one that would probably float for at least a little while with little weight in it.
