I honestly don’t know how I feel about this. I have a GSD that I haven’t fixed yet. She goes for hip and elbow certification next month. After that, I’ll breed her one time and then have her spayed. She’s had 3 heats and will probably have her 4th around June.

If some mongrel had somehow jumped my fence and knocked her up, am I supposed to take care of these unwanted litter and find them homes?

What the frick is wrong with you?

You could put them on Facebook and within minutes have them adopted. I’m not sure how your decision making leads you to “I’m not sure how I feel about a guy throwing puppies in a bag into a bayou”

Writer missed a perfect opportunity here.

Probably written by a dumbass recently graduated kid from LSU.

The mother is probably so full of milk she is literally in pain.

Hopefully they can get this piece of shite and rescue the mother.

this is quite literally exactly what happened to my dog, before I adopted her. only it wasn't a lake, it was the side of the road, in the middle of the country outside houston

she even looked like the pups in that photo.

fun fact: pitt mixes are statistically among the least adopted dogs out there; pitt lovers/hoodrats don't want them because they're not full-blood, and the many pitt haters don't want them because they (understandably) expect them to be violent

mine is a pitt/black lab mix, and the only violence she's ever shown was towards a treat or a frisbee

fits the rest of me then, I take her for a walk and scwowl at my neighbors like I'm posing for the cover of a DMX album

in my defense: she looked EXACTLY like the pups in that pic from the article. I thought she was just a lab till about 6 months, and by then I was too attached lol

This is fricked up, but that's some country shite. One of my great grandmothers, who lived on a farm, when her cats had kittens that's how she would get rid of them. Put them in a sack, put rocks in it with the kittens and throw them in the bayou.

I know this will piss some people off and be appalled by this, but we are talking about a woman in her 80s, during the early 80s who grew up on the farm. They did shite a little bit different than we do today.

She was also a tough old woman. When she was younger she beat the shite out of her step daddy with a skillet because he hit her mom.

I had a gut feeling you’d come in this thread and say something stupid. Wasn’t disappointed

my ol' lady is from a very small south loozianner town, and told me about the old black dudes down there playing, "coon on a log"

from google, for the uninitiated:

quote:

The contest went like this: A raccoon was chained to a log floating in a pond or small lake. It had enough chain to walk the length of the log and a bit more. The dog was suppose to swim out to the log and fight the coon until one of them "gave up" or was killed. You never heard such barking, howling, screaming, and shouting put up by the dog, coon, and men.

absolute insanity, especially coming from where I'm from where the family dog is like part of the whole crew. my dad was nicer to the dog than he was to me lol

If you seriously have doubts about this act. You don't need to own animals.
