See, this is funny at first, but there are too many dipshits out there who will read this and take it seriously.

This. Drive slowly, carefully and in the left lane if possible.

Remember, if you don’t have snow chains you can zip tie carboard boxes to your tires for extra traction

Always remember to make sure you put antifreeze on your engine before the snow storm hits. Rule #1 in Winter Storm safety preparation! See below for instructions

I think that's a myth. Now what does work is stapling heavy duty staples to all around your tires or if the weather is going to be particularly nasty I would recommend buying a whole bunch of wood screws and screwing them into your tires so you have a studded tire ready for action.

Be sure to drive with hazard lights on going really slow in the left most lane. If you lose control, hit the gas pedal to show the ice who's boss and regain control again. If you get stuck, stay in the left lane, turn off your lights, so that nobody gets you confused with a moving vehicle, and try to flag down cars by getting out of yours.

But not your headlights. If you have your headlights on, it could reflect off any ice or snow and blind other drivers, causing accidents.

Also, if your windshield is frozen just boil some water and pour it on the windshield before starting your car. It will melt the ice right off.

I'm shocked the OT doesn't have a stickied thread with a ton of links and images showing radars and all manner of weather info.

Guess TD is getting kind of jaded to winter weather.
