He doesn't have steady income coming in. I know its stupid because its just a tv show, but that's par for a Sheridan show.
I have watched every episode. There is a whole lot of suspension of belief required, but it is entertaining.

Mad Men, Dallas, etc. JR was always day drinking.

Which is exactly what the NFL wants. And why wouldn't they? Higher TV ratings = higher revenue the next time they negotiate a contract.
The people expressing outrage are only helping the NFL's cause.

even the women on TV. just last night when i was watching, Kyle’s wife (the nurse) asked Mike for coffee and to make leaded. He pours her a half a cup of Johnny Walker Red and a splash of coffee.
Ha, I don’t know a single woman in my life who wouldn’t puke that combo back up.

This is yet another example that so many of you are being taken advantage of by grifters. There was so much bitching that he was going to wear dress and a have an LGBT type of show, and that was all bullshite. The grifters are just laughing all the way to the bank.
