It flat out SUCKED in the inbetween years.
I never was a loyal fan, just caught random episodes. There were some down years, no doubt.
I blame it on the crackdown on Cocaine. It was everywhere in the 70s and 80s,..

Or maybe it's because he's the top streaming artist right now. Like when you were a kid and Elvis came out and your parents hated his hip swinging or hated the Beatles long hair. Like that. Now YOU are the old out of touch person. Grandpa Simpson Prophecy it happens to us all.
I have 3 kids at hip new musical listening age. I asked them about Bad Bunny. They were all like “I’ve heard of him but I don’t really listen to him.” In contrast, they were all batshit over Kendrick’s appearance last year.

Last Summer Kendrick was all over everything. Bunny may be huge on streaming but he isn't playing on radio much. If you listened to radio you heard Kendrick. Sportstalk am was even playing him coming back from commercial breaks.
The way the dome said "A MINOR" in unison was classic.

Kinda like saying he may be big in New York City and LA but he's nothing in Shreveport.

Right. But my point was he's not as omnipresent as Kendrick was lastv year.

This is a board full of miserable old dudes. Bad Bunny is very famous. SNL likes viewers. Water is wet.

Did the Beatles and Elvis sing in a different language? Or do kids these days listen to music where they have no clue what’s being said?

In the Spanish part he says that he's happy that doors have been opened for Hispanic people and that they can build a legacy here.
Were the doors ever shut?
I work with a guy that is a first generation American. His parents immigrated from Mexico. He was the first in his family to earn a degree and has a great job and family. Is that not what everyone should strive for?

He was in HG 2?
That was pretty bad also.
Not his fault though

I take the comment in the context of mainstream media. J Lo filled that space and we are now seeing how bad she is. Hell, they blame Yolanda for making her famous
