Let's say this is true. Are you happy or sad?

This sounds like a market for grift wide open for the taking. You've got me thinking now

It already exists, but the quality is poor and eventually the limits of that are reached like everything else.

I do think if you're willing to write cringey songs and say the right stuff you can make some bank. But most people have found that you can exploit the same market just with a Twitter account and skip all the music part.

Fair. In all honesty, I didn't understand one word of Kendrick Lamar's show either. And apparently his show was designed to let the world know he hates Drake. Without understanding Spanish, I did get the imagery last night. Production was on point.

Honestly if people on the right really want to paralyze the fawning left over the halftime thing, ignore the TPUSA part entirely

Just tell them how much better Bad Bunny's show was than that unwatchable Kendrick performance and they'll be too conflicted to respond

I think the language barrier ended up being the biggest deal. I think there is a decent probability that non political people or even left leaning people were turned off by it

That's a fair point. I'm half Hispanic, I was very surprised how much my aunts thought that performance sucked they were frustrated because they couldn't understand him. He mumbles quite bit.

My cuban FIL said the same thing. Spanish is his first language and he said he couldn't understand a lot of it

After thinking, I think I understand why music has issues.

There actually is a vibrant right wing music scene across several genres but it's the extreme kind of politics and I suppose the worry is that pattern will repeat.

So bro country it is

How many couples were married during the TPUSA family friendly show?

I didn't watch either one because why the hell would a grown man watch a halftime show but the amount of discussion over this silliness is amazing....if this is the shite that is keeping Americans awake at night things couldn't be going any better.....

None of those are particularly going to appeal to the masses anyway

I also think music is harder and more polarizing by default. Quality movies can more easily cross lines, IMO.

It doesn't help that musicians are more easily called out individually, responses demanded from individual people, etc. So even if the right builds up a base of non-woke musicians who aren't overtly pro-conservative, they're still going to face a very hostile media demanding their takes constantly (see Jelly Roll or someone like that).

Yep. I'll say this. I was left leaning up through 2020. I did not make my 180 until I was 30 years old.

And since that wasn't that long ago, I'll tell you: One of the biggest reasons I refused to listen to right wing talking points was because of all the cringe attached to it. My husband would try to share an article with me and it was from www.PatriotEagleLiberty.net, which would obviously make me roll my eyes and laugh. Ads covering the page for bullshite collectible coins and "GET YOUR FREE BIBLE TODAY".

I know now that this is because MSM is an absolute shill for the left, but certainly conservatives must concede that we look ridiculous sharing serious articles from websites like that.

Same with this Kid Rock/bro country train they seem to be dead set on clinging to. It's cringe at best, and the level headed conservatives who see that should be laughing at how absurd it is and calling out the weirdos who are worshipping it.

Unless you're a legitimate Kid Rock and Brantley Gilbert fan, I guess.

What Idiot thought a separate halftime show would be a great idea versus the real show?

Benito put on a good show, didn't disrespect anything or anyone. Played it about as safe as he could

The other show was just a flop.

Imagine being ignorant enough to care about either one all the while both sides of the political isle steal from you or allow you to be stolen from everyday.

My fb feed was full of people arguing about this shite but no one comments of insider stock trading of our politicians, entitlement fraud, etc
