It was pretty high in there yesterday. The lower part of Highland Road Park was almost entirely flooded. That said, it is going down. I haven't been past it today.

Lol no
The Amite River is at 27 feet. It peaked at 46.2 feet in August 2016.

Anybody who built or bought a home there is an idiot. It’s a freakin flood plain.

The ball fields on Highland by Highland Park were partially flooded Sunday and it usually takes a while for water to go down there.

It's still covering the softball fields.

Honestly, they built it up significantly, so they won't flood. It will cause problems for other people, though. It's just like that development off of Jones Creek.

The Manchac is pretty high at Old Jeff in Pville.

The Amite River is falling at Port Vincent, which means Bayou Manchac will start falling too. Keep your pantyhose on, it's not the big one, at least if it stays dry about a week.

It was up to the edge of the lower parking lot on Sunday so I'm sure it's still high. That much water isn't going to be back to normal in a few days bub

My mama confirmed Highland Road Park down by the Bayou is flooded across the ball fields up to the parking lots. that's a sign it's prettty frickin high.

I saw some of that ‘build up.’
We used to fill in 6” lifts, with clay, and compact each lift. What they seemed to do was pile a shitton of blackjack up, plant some rye seed, and start building.

this is a fact. Really a shame what they've done, and continue to do

EBR is doing that to try and stop St George from happening
