Oh you have a runny nose? Stay home for the fricking day! You don't need a god damned COVID test!
My family has done our job. We all got it and none of us took a test. Also, I'm not wearing a fricking mask for the next 3 months, I refuse to virtue signal for these idiots.

Whole Foods has all but had a shadow mandate since Thanksgiving

Random question, do you work in healthcare finance? Or am I thinking of someone else?

NOLA had almost zero voter participation for the mayoral election. And those that did show up voted around 70% for teedy. So I don’t want to hear bitching from retailers, the restaurant association, or the tourism industry. They did nothing to get information out about other candidates, nothing to provide support to other candidates, and nothing to help.
This ^^^^. And unfortunately, regardless of your voting preference, there is no chance that policy will get better and a slim to none chance that her replacement in 4 years will be any better. If you remain in business in New Orleans, you know what you are getting and choosing to stay.... ie, you get what you deserve.
I mean, no organized effort by any business owners to unseat her whatsoever. You own it, guys. Sorry

Well, I was at a wedding and then on a party bus with about 30 people, some who let us know that they tested positive for Covid a couple days after. It would be a weird coincidence if we just got a cold after having a prolonged exposure to others who have Covid.
Also, we had a "common cold" (rhinovirus) earlier this year and it was much more severe than what we just got over

One death. Everyone needs two masks and a face shield

The people that are staunchly anti-mask will continue not wearing them and nobody will really enforce it (YMMV)
Places in NOLA will enforce it dude. You're kidding if you think otherwise

If I'm staying at home, no one will see me wearing my six masks though.

Gotcha. An acquaintance has a son graduating from ULL in finance who is interested in getting into the healthcare side. Not sure what exactly he's looking for but thought I remembered you were somewhat in that field.

No response to never ending car jackings, murders, rapes, shitty roads, shitty infrastructure, shitty school systems, shitty pumping systems, etc. but man do I feel so so much better with another mask mandate/restriction over a cold that has a survival rate of 99.9% if it's caught.
What a mother fricking lost, corrupt, POS, trashy fricking city New Orleans is. It's getting what it deserves. It will continue to burn as it should. It's what you get for continuing to vote for scumbags.
