It is, but it doesn't make it any less a sin. It's another one of those things where you have to fight human nature to not do it. In the end, as far as I know, Jesus is still the only person without sin to walk the Earth, so to err is human. As long as you're not maxing out credit cards on OF, you'll probably be okay.

It’s a legitimate struggle for many Christians, myself included. It’s a struggle of self-dental vs instant gratification. God created sexual pleasure for our benefit, but it’s difficult to keep that in the rails he intended, like so many other sins.
“Sins” you can commit all by yourself to yourself don’t really feel like “sins”.
They do, however, feel like “sins” humans made up on their own. I realize the Catechism says otherwise for Catholics, but that very much feels like a human thing more than a God thing.

You really have to have the right pliers and a good, preferably battery-powered, Dremel really helps.

They had weekly mass every Thursday morning, so I imagine there was a line waiting to go to confession on Wednesday afternoons. Oh, to have been a fly on the wall, or the priest.

2nd pic, looks like she's thinking about a relapse...

What?
Lust, idolatry, blasphemy, just to land a few punches on very low hanging fruit. what are you even talking about? Surely Catholics aren’t this willingly ignorant.

I know I’m discussing a third rail around here, but touching yourself on your own and realizing it feels good in and of itself doesn’t feel like a thing God would punish. I’m not advocating for porn, lust, etc, I’m simply talking about masturbation in and of itself.

You’re clearly the new screen name for that creep PhantomMenace. You shouldn’t be on this website and should probably be behind bars. Read this guys post history if you have any doubts.

Show me in the Bible where masturbation is a sin. And also where looking at porn is a sin. You can't because it doesn't.

You have used a “feeling” of sin as a determinant of guilt in sin, twice now. Sin is not a disqualification of salvation. We all sin, even the saved sin, sometimes willingly.
I’m not sure I follow your lead that masturbation is not a gratification of lust. Nobody jerks off to landscapes or photos of planets.

According to a very reliable source, the Catholic school girls in NOLA are told that it's completely normal, and on retreats they commonly confessed their indiscretions to each other. Don't know their definition or policy regarding "addiction".

I’m not really trying to argue with you from a scripture standpoint here.

I think you’re underselling it here. It’s not an easy topic to discuss without sounding like a crazy person, but I feel pretty confident that people have been rubbing their dicks against things for 10,000 years. You touch something, it feels good, you keep touching it and shite happens. If you remove the lust from the equation, which I think is very possible for some people, it’s like calling a back scratch a sin. I’m well aware of how that sounds on the surface but think about it for a minute.

It would help me understand her experiences and the purpose of her ministry more if she very slowly described her masturbation fantasies and practices.

Not sure what you mean, but your own post history reveals that you one hundred percent consistently snipe at everyone else, in each and every comment you make, and never even once contribute anything constructive to any thread on any subject. Measure your worth in life by the number of anonymous attacks on others from your basement.
