My wife's was a scheduled induce. We showed up on a Saturday morning, they gave her something, and off we went.
Does take away the whole nervousness thing not having to worry about labor starting anytime. I liked that method.

OK baw. I am going to give you the best advice ever. When you are in the delivery room the opportunity is going to present itself to look down at your wife's unit. DO NOT DO IT! You can act like you are, but keep your eyes locked dead on her belly button, or anything else you can so you don't have to see it.

Major congrats to OP! My first/only (so far) turns 2 in June. Savor every moment. Even the ones that feel shitty at the time. Incredible experience. Being a dad is hands down my favorite part of life.

When my son was born the doctor yelled “Here he is!” I thought he was all the way out, so I took a peek and he was only about 30% of the way out. Rookie move
