how do they know you didn't back up your new truck into a pole after they left?

because if you look closely, as I already said, you can see the damage in the pics from BEFORE I bought it.

Are you even reading the thread or just arguing and being ugly for the sake of argument?

a DEALERSHIP doesn't sell damaged vehicles

Tell that to my daughter's 2009 Honda Accord that we bought a couple years ago.

And YOU agreed to purchase said vehicle even though this “damage” was visible in the pictures and visible to you once the vehicle was seen in person.

YOU CHOSE to purchase the vehicle in this condition. What aren’t you understanding?

Dent in passenger side bumper? Maybe that’s made that way just looked for something that stood out. My company truck has a clean carfax and just had whole front cap replaced and windshield at 3000 miles because of limb during storms for a total of $11000. Freaking headlight cost $1500 alone. Paid cash for repairs didn’t claim on insurance. Truck before this had clean carfax when I traded it in to get new one. Front end of it took out big ole doe nanny $7000 in repairs that were paid on cash so clean carfax isn’t true indicator.

Are you serious with this?

So I guess my question here is are they obligated to make it right? Do they legally have to disclose any damage at the time of sale?

Well they did. They gave you pictures and apparently that is all you require to make a purchase like this. Its a used car that you bought sight unseen (at least in person).

Zero.

Not to mention, the CARFAX was clean as a whistle.

Carfax gets their data from insurance companies and body shops. No insurance claim and no repair from a shop that reports to Carfax = clean Carfax

If its a small dent, try using a heat gun on the spot and then push from the inside to see if you can get it to pop back to its original shape.

So you admit to not looking closely at an item you spent nearly 30k on before buying?

You are some kind of naive.

This isn’t Amazon or Walmart where they take back shite no matter what.

You’re the type of person that wants someone else to always pay or fix your frickups or carelessness. What are you? A woman? You fricked up. Be a man, take the hit, and learn your lesson. Hopefully you son will learn from your frickup as well.

But no, you want to know if you have leverage. You know it’s your fault. You are a trash.

Don’t understand why the OP bitches at every post that basically says he is screwed. Why even ask the question if all you’re looking for is people to agree with you?

Frame damage or salvage title maybe. Other then that you are buying a used vehicle, you need to do your do diligence.
