I dated a girl that was in AOII at SLU.. she told me one of the things that they had as to do was put ten girls in a room and nine chickens.. they had to catch and kill the chickens bare handed and anyone that didn't, was cut

Fraternal organizations are specifically exempt by name from federal antidiscrimination laws.

So for poor Buffy, her checklist looked like this:
-Makes good grades. Check

-Performed well at Rush. Check.
-Enjoys community service and charity work. Check.

Lotta eating disorders in sororities. The Chi O cousin of a friend of mine developed anorexia that finally killed her several years out of college. I wouldn't necessarily call it hazing though. More like the kind of mind games all women play on each other when a group of them are together for any length of time.
