White women are the biggest threat to the United States.

I’m guessing she wants all of their historical buildings and events canceled, too?
hell, we might as well tear down all of italy. Julius Caesar enslaved 75% of europe to build his part of the roman empire...oh snap.
those slaves were white, won't fit todays narrative

I think the issue is that they only want you to acknowledge one aspect that poisons everything else to the point where its evil to accept that other things happened

Natchez you're on the clock.

Natchez you're on the clock.
The town has nothing left to lose. Same population size for 160 years.

This is pretty short sighted of Ms. Leming and the Historical Society. The Audubon Pilgrimage brought in a lot of money for the parish, money that was used in programs that benefited African Americans living in the parish. Can't see the forest through the trees here.
Also the notion that slavery isn't discussed at this event is incorrect. I've been to the Pilgrimage plenty of times and it is discussed. For example, I very clearly recall the guide at Rosedown Plantation discussing how the home was built on slave labor, that they recognized that this was a dark period of American history, denounced slavery, recognized and respected the sacrifices African Americans made for the plantation and in general during that time period, etc.. I guess the anti Pilgrimage people maybe want it required that all white people attending the event kneel down and prostrate themselves before them and apologize for sins that happened over 150 years ago that neither they, their parents, grandparents, or great grandparents had anything to do with?

It won't stop there- give it time. Another woke 'n white college chick will contact the local media and share her personal hell of having nightmares caused by staring at an antebellum home too long.
I'm thinking she'll have Crazy Eye Syndrome like this one, as well.

These historical homes that rely on tourism money to survive will be slowly strangled to death.

Spain should be canceled for the degree of violence used in their conquest of Latin America.
