Audi Q3, or Q5 vs BMW X-3

Looking to get my teenage daughter a car because wife is tied of being her uber driver and she is in everything. Looking at 13-15 BMW x-3 as neighbors daughter has a 2014 one will give me right over trade in but it doesn’t have back up camera.
Also, son has a Audi he loves and The Q-3 and Q-5 are beautiful little cars and actually reliable per CU for once.
Anybody that has any experience with these cars etc your input is appreciated. A little concerned about speed of both of these and thank god don’t still live in Louisiana as Insurance would be obscene. ( You guys are getting raped btw, you are paying over two times what were are paying in Mississippi and Louisiana. I hope kick backs are making someone rich )

Q3 and X3 look like uncomfortable shite boxes for people that couldn't afford a Q5.

I know someone that just bought their teenage daughter a used BMW. Trust me when I tell you, it's the biggest piece of shite ever. Horribly designed, super expensive to operate and maintain, always, always broken and leaking something, and rides horrible.|
However, when you look at it, it's absolutely beautiful and looks top notch.

Go with the Q5. It's a great vehicle.
I've never driven a Q3 but I've driven an X3 and it wasn't as good of a ride as the Q5. And the Audi will probably be more reliable.

So what if you can afford it? Teen drivers will always dent and frick up a car. Makes no sense in buying them a new BMW.
