That doesn’t bother me. Negotiating is part of life. What bothers me is when they show up with less cash than they agreed to pay.
I’ve been chewed out for not taking less money at the point of sale. Three separate times I’ve turned people away for that bullshite.

My opening offer is typically half of the listed price. You’re selling your shite on Facebook so obviously you need the cash. Deal with the lowballs or get a better job, your choice.

If something is overpriced and I am interested in it at a fair price I tell the seller that. It's a 50/50 proposition, and honestly when buying used stuff that is pretty good odds.
