Attempted kidnapping in Bonnabel area of Metairie

This is all over Facebook. Hope they catch the guys before someone ends up dead.
“To all the ladies please keep an eye out. At 8:30 am today, a friend of mine was walking her dog by Nero/Bonnabel when a vehicle approached (Blue/Silver Lexus SUV) and stopped in the middle of the road. Two African American men wearing hoodies jumped out and chased her trying to kidnap her. The white woman was in her 30's and barely escaped so please watch out and be careful out there. JPSO are actively looking for these two individuals as this is the fifth time they have tried this in the area“

Based on what I know of how it was originally reported and what was said in the original story, I believe it to be real to an extent.
Not sure where the kidnapping thing came into it though. They really didn't try and chase her. Probably just wanted to rob her. As soon as she ran, they got back in the SUV and took off.

Well, since they probably had pants on 6 sizes too big hanging under their asses and untied timberlands, they were probably unable to run. So really she just needed to walk briskly.

How did she know they were trying to kidnap her as opposed to rob, or rape her or just ask her about her dog
