That breakfast place on the NE corner of that intersection is legit, though.

If gays are in a bad mood do the colors show that too? You know, a mood ring cross walk.My gay neighbor showed this story to me. Must give him credit for observation.

What a waste of taxpayer dollars. Might as well double as a safe space inside the square.

This is great. I just moved here yesterday and am about 5 blocks away from this intersection.

Love my new neighborhood and city. A really cool, unique, and progressive thing

Do people really care that a single intersection in Atlanta will be painted rainbows? It's crazy to me that people even still care about people being gay

I was thinking the same thing. Didn't know that people cared if others were gay. Figured we were past that.

Welp, I should try reading. I really don't give a shite then. At least we're not installing crosswalk traffic lights for smartphone-distracted pedestrians in the US yet ( Germany - LINK )

Most ppl I know that still give a shite about sexual orientation do so because of a) extreme flamboyancy and/or b) broadcasting 'look at me' tactics.

Privately funded. Originally was painted in support of Orlando last year I believe. Petition signed by 20,000 supporters to make it permanent. Gayest intersection in the city.

People are triggered about this?!

Gays are by far the best minority. What percent of gays do you think are on food stamps? Like half a percent maybe? Let them have their gay arse block.

This is the center of a gay friendly neighborhood in Atlanta, which has been a place for southern gay men to be themselves without fear for decades. I'm all for it.
