They’re eating their own. She never should have been police chief of a major city.
She was appointed because checks several boxes, including being lesbian. She climbed through the ranks as a bureaucrat, not on the streets. including internal affairs and drafting policy changes.

I don’t know the background, but the fact that she is a woman (and lesbian) is enough to notice they’re eating their own. Who do lesbian white-guilters side with in this? I hope there’s an uproar. The new Civil War is getting closer by the day.

this is essentially how a lot of cops feel when answering calls about stores in bad neighborhoods.
I can tell you what happened when my gf's family's store was robbed (twice). Both times, I got to the store from home before the cops did (>10 minutes). Both times held gunpoint as well, so it wasn't some petty stuff (like using a fake bill).
