I liked the Twin Peaks in Metairie and Jackson, before both closed. They were like Hooters but with decent food.

Get some Pollo Palenque while you’re there. Really good chicken. Edit to add Delia’s Tamales. Best tamales I’ve had.

Not at all if sitting at the bar. Much to look at and was there prob less than an hour. Main reason I went to that type place. It is a bit lonelier going to a legit restaurant solo as I’ll usually get a table.
