Was coming to post the same thing. My wife and son’s phone are SOS. Mine is 5G+, but only 2 bars and it’s slow.
We are 5ft apart right now in the house, same phones and plan.

My iphone 13 and my kid's 13 are SOS only, but the Mrs (pics on onlyfans) works fine. All on iOS 17.3.1.

I know. It's a joke. Verizon is what I use because I find it works better in the swamp and marsh than att or teen mobile. I knew someone with the teen mobile aircard back in the day that worked on the rig in west texas when nothing else did

Sounds like the Rapture or the HBO series Left Behind but for cell service.
Just kidding, I have the same issue with AT&T. A work phone that is an IPhone SE 2 works, but my personal IPhone Pro Max 13 doesn’t work.
I have some remote sites that are on cellular 4G First Net AT&T and they are working.

You’re right. I bought a Version line after the hurricane a couple years ago because ATT was down in Baton Rouge. Dropped it as soon as ATT was up and running smoothly.
