Unless the fibers get cut to the cell towers, you can always go MOBILE.

I saw a video where some internet providers are putting some services with backhauls using a few Starlinks in the field. So as long as the fiber is not cut to your direct neighborhood or drop between your house and the cabinet, your internet should be fine.

Also, some providers even have built in cellular modems in your router as a backup in case your connection drops.

Was looking for this post yesterday...I spent over an hour on the phone with ATT but got more information from a TD post. They have shipped me a new modem, but now WiFi has been restored. As for the cell service, they told me more than one tower is down/out/diminished and won't be fully restored until end of next week..we'll see

Fun times indeed !!

AT&T's cell coverage is terrible on the best of days. I couldn't imagine having to rely on my phone's hotspot for my family to use the interwebs.

AT&T Internet *and* cellular was down in Cross Creek Ranch, in Katy TX, for two and a half days last month. AT&T offered a bill credit of $2.66 per household.

Do not accept the credit, call them and spin a story about not being able to work from home, etc., and you'll get at least $20.

Doesn't surprise me. I work for AT&T taking repair calls for one pretty specific antiquated technology and the majority of calls I get are misrouted, some of them in regards to products that I have no idea we sell or what they are. Our phone number is offered as a catch all either from the online bot or other employees who don't know better. I can't imagine how many customers at any given time are going around in circles for hours and being transferred a dozen times.

Hopefully you don’t need TV services.

Looks like they ask for a King’s Ransom for TV.

A Gig is 85 a month, but TV is 127 or 139 a month for a basic Cable TV plan with ESPN.

And you only get 3 streams since it is like a YouTube TV type of package that requires internet.
