Not your front yard. The city's easement.
that's your neighbors selling out baws, they pay decent money to lease that space, a friend of mine has one that AT&T put up on some property she owned about 20 years ago, they gave her $1000/mo. for 50 years

Elect better local government.

They aren't even an eyesore. I swear if they put Michelangelo's original David in someone's yard they would bitch about it.

This is the dumbest thing I've read all day.

What was inaccurate about my statement? You as an individual voter have the most impact on local elections.
Of course the issue here is that the majority have no issue with it. So you can either bitch and moan on a message board, attempt to do something about it and persuade your neighbors, or move.
But you'll of course chose option 1.

Depends can I put up a booth and charge people to view? Or do I just have to deal with the constant crowds?

You want to take odds that he's also doing it using a cellular network run by the corporations he's railing at?
Posted on 5/16/19 at 4:49 pm to TigerstuckinMS
Well of course he is. And is probably the first one to bitch about his reception.

Why not just place them on existing light posts?
I'm not sure why they don't. The one I drive by every morning has only been there a few weeks. It's not that big. Looks kind of like the one below.
It just looks out of place because all of the street lights are aluminum colored. The also could have put it in a more discreet location than right in front of these people's house.

It’s technically not inaccurate but ignores the reality that corporations have bought off 90% of elected officials local or national and the ones they haven’t bought off are far left or far right zealots.

My post wasn’t about a cell tower baw

Context is hard
I was trying to be fair to you rather than just calling you obtuse straight away but I guess that’s what I get for extending that courtesy.
How about this: you’re an ostrich with their head in the sand idiot if you believe it’s really as simple as “electing better government”

At the national level? Ya, I can go with that.
At the local? lol no. Corporations don't give a shite about podunk local officials unless it's a major urban population center.

I watched the video in OPs link. The pole was the best looking thing on that street.

Good, easier for calling the Cops.

It’s less of a problem locally but it’s still a problem, and most of America lives in urban population centers so...
Posted on 5/16/19 at 5:03 pm to Draconian Sanctions
I said major urban population centers.
Baton Rouge, Little Rock, Huntsville, Columbia, etc. cities aren't owned by corporations.
Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, LA, NYC....sure.
Most of the population does not live in major urban centers. We're talking multi-million populations for it to be worth it for corporations to buy influence. The money is much better spent at the state and national level.
