At work everyone is "happy to be back"

We’re still in a WFH scenario. Both kids and wife are gone right now. It’s a little weird after having everyone home for the last month doing virtual school/work.

I'm on my fricking third computer restart and about to throw this laptop into the wall. It's not even two years old and I spent over $1000 on it, but it doesn't fricking. Thats how happy I am today.
And no I do not watch anything inappropriate, this is just a work laptop.

I was off for 3 weeks but worked most of the first week to try and knock stuff out. I didn't look at a thing the last two out of principle, so this past weekend was full of dread and anxiety for this week.
Definitely not happy to be back today, but I'll be happy by the end of this week once I get a bunch of things done.

I've been WFH since March and have been told right now it's indefinite. My wife has been back at work since May though and my kid has been in school since August other than one 2 week quarantine.

Yeah, today is my first day back at the shop since the Tuesday before Christmas...
This sucks.
I was very much enjoying sleeping in until 8 and finding fun things to do outside with the kids. I could train a SWAT team on the target course we've got set up right now in the woods behind the house for their new pellet guns. And my son and I have been just dominating the league on Madden franchise mode. Life is good.

Man, all holidays should be on Friday. Those two back to back with just token work shite on the M-W in between was butter.

I just happened to test positive for the corona virus yesterday. 2 more weeks off....errr I mean I am working from home for a bit!
