yes

Was advised to stop making gumbo on the first date

That just seems like horrible counsel

Rookie mistake. She should be eating your mom's gumbo on the first date after you introduce her to your parents.

aren't you due to put another baby in your bride's belly?

What's it been? 2? Maybe 3 months?

Only thing that bothers me is not having kids means not having anyone to pass down family heirlooms too
I feel somewhat guilty about that, nice things my grandparents & parents worked hard for & no one to pass them down to
But not guilty enough to get married / have kids at this point in my life

FIFY

I have no regrets about not having kids. But it would be nice to have a helper.

Guess I’m stuck hiring Messicans out of the Home Depot parking lot.

If and when it finally happens, you'll be relieved to know that they do not, in fact, feel like a bag of sand.

Rouge...I ain't hating on you baw. I have seen you on this website since I was in my 20s. I am just trying to tell you to be careful with these broads and marriage in 2018 ain't even what it was in 2008. I have several divorced friends. Some have remarried.

You can get married no matter how old but income and kids are a huge part of said equation.

Take it on to open your heart.
Learn to love your neighbor like you love yourself.

Serve others.

You can grow some.
