Couldn't go cold turkey... I stopped going regularly after I graduated, but will occasionally end up somewhere over there if my friend's band is playing or if there's an event at one of them (Law school rents them out sometimes), etc. etc. After about 24 you really start to feel out of place

Why would one be proud of not having fun at a few dive bars off campus?

They're part of the same crew that stays sober before games. That's a joke...

I'm in a fraternity and stopped going after a few times my very first semester. I absolutely hate it. I think I'm the only one who sees how shitty it is, though. As others have said, house parties, bus trips, grubs, and other shite is so much better.

I went to Fred's once after graduation. Quit going to sports at 19.

I graduated LSU in 2002. I'm 34 years old and lived in Tigerland apartments for a semester. Last season after A&M game I met my cousin (current sophomore) at Freds along with my brother ('98 alumn). And we had the time of our life.

Once a tiger always a tiger. You will never stop going to Tigerland, but you might take a decade off.

Geaux Tigers.

Tigerland was the shite when I was 18 with a 21-year old bracelet. Went pretty often and had some good times. Once I actually turned 21 I quit going. Those bars are shitholes.

I went to Fred's once and hated it.

I'd rather spend a night at home than at a shitty bar. I just don't find it enjoyable. Too loud and way overcrowded.

I'd rather chill and drink with friends in a more relaxed bar setting where we can actually conversate and hear what each other is saying. I guess that qualifies me as a loser.

Bogies absolutely counts. I spent a ton of time at bogies and always laughed at everyone who would say "I hate tiger land, I only go to bogies"

It's the same thing.
