At what age did everything just start hurting on your body? And have you 'fixed" it?

35ish I really noticed I couldn’t recover like I used to. In 40s now and everything hurts.

I’m 48 and feel fine.

I lift, stretch a lot, and do quite a bit of cardio as well. Also maintaining a healthy weight alone is key.

Noticed a physical decline around 45 - more aches, pains, pulls, longer recovery from physical issues. 55 now but not much different than 45. Fingers crossed.

I’ve had old injuries to the back and knee come home to roost in my 40’s with additional aches and pains

When Uncle Author comes to visit he does not leave. I have arthritis in my low back, elbows, shoulder and the worse is in my knee. The harder your abuse your body while young the more it will get you.

it was 48 for me the last two years it seems everything aches. I recently started doing flexibility routines along with my regular exercise and it has been helping

Two of the issues I noticed are sleep and recovery. If I miss a morning workout and get it in after work, next morning’s workout is a bit tougher. Also, a bad night of sleep typically ruins the quality of my workout the next day. I miss college days where I’d stay out until 3 am and wake up at 7 am without an alarm and bust out 5-6 miles like it was nothing.

I have degenerative disk disease, started in my late 30s. I'm actually in quite a bit of pain this morning. I manage it pretty well, but some mornings are rough. Take care of yourselves, this shite sucks.

Currently 40 and feel fine. I run and do strength training. Also don’t eat crap. Usually get 8 hours of sleep.

I'm just now filing for VA Disability at 43 and been having back issues since 37. So i say late 30s right before I retired from the Service.

Now i feel like twice ran over dog shite.

40. When I was in my 20's and even early 30's I'd drink a fifth of vodka and 6 beers on a Friday night and be at the gym by 8AM on Saturday morning.

I'd probably die if I tried that now.

Mid 40s and no.

BJJ and work outs Monday-Friday always hurts. It’s just more that i put up with it and keep doing it because i enjoy it.

I know at some point i won’t be able to at all anymore and don’t want to look back and think i should have kept doing it while i could.

So i will continue to sound like im 75 getting up from a chair or out of bed until that is actually the case

Stupid things started happening at 44. Bulging discs in my neck. Just woke up one morning and my neck hurt, lost grip strength, and arm was numb. Fixed that with PT, then it was the other side. Fixed that with PT.

Then I get the flu, laid up for 5 days. On day 6 I felt fine, bent over to pick up a case of water, back popped, and pulled a trap muscle. Time healed that one, took a month. Like I said, dumb stuff.
