You've been saying this for how long now? And it's basically done the opposite of what you thought it would do long term for how long now?

It has certainly held and grown beyond their predictions, but it is still mostly a speculative investment vehicle as opposed to a legitimate currency.

I don't think we are at a point to say Bitcoin, or any other crypto, is going to be a legitimate currency long term, or to even predict it's value if it achieved that status.

I'm no crypto expert though, so I could be way off.

He was telling us it was a bad investment in June...at $2500. 6 months later it's nearing $16k and he's still acting like he was correct.

Russian is taking the easy road and will swoop back in when it crashes

I’m willing to back my opinion over the long term until bitcoin proves it isn’t a fad. I’m looking for some semblance of price stability, and then i will admit defeat

Until then it is a fad investment like beanie babies were

even if that is true, why criticize the opportunity?

i dont trust $3k gains per day either, for the record, which is why im in and out of it.

but youve gone out of your way to dissuade potential investors, thats what i dont understand

this was an investment opportunity of our lifetime and you just shite on without even considering an alternative

y'all have only been saying this for going on 5 years now

it will probably stabilize eventually, and probably in the $100k range

Yeah, lots of stability over the last 5 years. You’re right. Enjoy your 100k

1. I bought in almost exactly at that time, at $400

2. That's also irrelevant to you still acting like you've been right at every turn about bitcoin, it's funny.

No i haven’t. I state my opinions. If people are basing their investment advice off of something they read here from a guy they don’t know, that’s on them

The sooner you can just admit your opinions have been off every step of the way and not actually going the other way acting like you've been right all along, the better these threads will go for you.

You can't store Bitcoin on flash drives. It's decentralized. The coins are in the block. I have a nano ledger that has an encrypted key. It works well.

You are acting like i care about the opinions people on here have of me

You say every step of the way i was wrong. You like to forget that i said the price would crash back then, and it did so relatively soon after

I don’t see a crash in the short term here, but I’d be willing to be BTC is closer to $0 than $100k in 5 years

I didn't say you could.

That's a better version of essentially what I said. But if I truly had a huge, life changing amount, that nano ledger would be in a safety deposit box or somewhere pretty darn safe.
