Right and I know I’m doing the right thing, but this is fun to watch and dream about.

I’d like to think that 40 years from now my dollars going in will be giant stacks of millions

I’m sure some other cowboy investment opportunities will be there in 10 years when I’ve got some dollars to play with.

ya checking account deposits take awhile to clear, so hopefully youre in the good now dude.

Saturday is the target date for 7 days, and I'll try to get a little more research in and try out 4-5 coins.

It's basically throw away money and just something to have fun with and track daily.

I don't think anyone is advocating to put all your investments into cryptos

I'm still investing heavily my 401ks, IRAs, etc

this is just a little side thing

I heard on the radio this morning about a company that had 400+ Bitcoin stolen by hackers from their digital wallets. How do you secure your Bitcoin and is anyone insuring deposits or policing theft?

What do we tell the folks that held on to it and now it's almost at $16k?

It's $16k now, I think you keep glossing over that as that nullifies any argument you try to make.

Meet up with a dealer and make the buy.

Or open up an account at coinbase.com
Transfer in $$$.
Buy Bitcoin with it.

Tbh if I was getting in now, I’d seriously consider BitCoinCash instead.

How so? Did the people who dumped it to protect what they had left get any part of that if they didn’t get back in?

If I truly had a large amount in play, I'd have everything I need on multiple flash drives and have them in a safety deposit box or something along those lines.

No, but the price today tells you all you need to know.

Those people fricked up, but you're acting like bitcoin is the "problem"

It's just odd, every post you make doesn't fully make sense as you still are trying to say you were right about bitcoin years ago acting like you didn't think it was a bad idea to invest into it...and now it's at $16k!!!

And you pretend that the fanboys weren’t completely silent for 3 years when it looked like bitcoin had already had its major run

ETA: this is fad investing. Make money while you can

I admire your persistence

no idea why you just can't admit you were wrong

even Russian and broke have avoided this thread because I assume they realize they were wrong

I'm completely ignorant when it comes to crypto. You can store them completely offline and they aren't able to be counterfeited (word?)?

What if an exchange tries to screw you over when you make a trade?
