I'm taking a wild guess that OP didn't get into a relationship with a crazy woman with a felon ex and ragamuffin kids because he's a white collar guy who seeks to avoid drama and wants a quiet family life.
So OP, if none of that phases you, then I think you're being a little ridiculous drawing the line here.
If somehow you woke up from a coma and found yourself in this situation, then obviously the choice is to leave the entire thing behind and go find a stable, wholesome woman.

Relationship with girlfriend sounds like it’s on the rocks because of kids. FYI if this is a woman you plan on marrying one day, you marry the kids as well. Decide your future for what it is now before it’s too late and too expensive.

A little background. GF has two kids from a previous relationship. Baby daddy is a degenerate drug dealer (who has spent time in prison for such). I really don't care for the eldest child - she ran away last year and that resulted in a long and expensive custody battle with lots of drama. This kid is a mean little shite and has a mouth that makes you want to wash it out with soap (not my kid - so can't do anything but try to avoid interacting with the kid).
