Nope not in NOLA, not sure what other guy makes but he was making more than me awhile back.
I'd work in NOLA for a bit more, mainly just wouldn't want a house. I work for a buddy during the summers I'm not traveling and make a little extra side money to put away.

I know the teachers in my parish start out around $47k.. A teacher can teach Summer School and get an extra $6-$8k. So someone can easily make $53-54k a year right out the gate.
