Do you and you're wife ever do a teacher/student role play in bed??

Mostly your parents fault. Your mom was busy at my house and your dad was too busy fixing the trailer.

Real talk: what was the point of the thread if you didn't want to answer the few serious questions asked?

Are your principles as strong as the options you have?

I'm not sure that I know what a strong option is, but I would assume you also need a proofreading lesson.

What is the worst thing a kid has done in your class that you let them get away with?

Ever thought about how it would be teaching multiple grades?

I think the norm, like many professions, is to start out with less perks. Many first year teachers have multiple grades or multiple preps.

Totally understandable. It's a small world in that profession.

Do you have a punch card at the nearest planned parenthood?

I'd be happier punching a PP employee.

Have you ever had that magical moment when you saw the light go on in a students eyes and they 'got it'? If yes, was it exciting?

Do you think the amount of screen time young folks have is detrimental to learning?

Yes that moment should happen routinely. I'd say it is a daily thing, more frequent with more difficult subjects.

ETA- yes in terms of interpersonal skills, no in terms of information gathering.
