I'm not sure 6-8 for teaching 2-3 weeks of summer school... We pay 600 a week for working 6 hours a day during summer school

Why do teachers complain about their pay when other professions have to work 12 months a year and haven't had a raise in years.

I believe teachers really shouldn't complain and probably do so but to have something to bark about.

Comparatively, teachers shouldn't complain- for 36 weeks of work a teacher could make around 40-50k.

At that rate if teachers were willing/able to work 50 weeks a year, we would make around 70, which is fair pay.

If you consider Orleans a good Parrish, then yes. You are correct on the masters +30. Not sure on the cert. He just knows how to work the system and been working since 23 yrs old.

Have you figured out how to make $75,000+ a year teaching middle school PE and will be getting pension before the age of 55?

Yes. Age 52, and it's not easy getting those kids into stretch lines.

Sounds like this has happened to you before. Maybe you shouldn't have been such a douche.

Master's +30 automatically makes him eligible for higher pay, add in 23 years and of course he is over 70.
If I never go I to adminstration (a goal) then I will be over 70k at his time as well.

Yes, it's to make parents of shiteheads miserable. All of the good kids get to finish theirs in class.
