Considering a move closer to Baton Rouge for work.
Ive narrowed my location down to Ascension and Livingston. Which parish is the trashiest?

Livingston but it's not a bad place to live if you are in the BR area. The schools are decent and there are some nice areas. It's also more affordable than AP in general.

That really depends on where you work. Zachary to my office on Bluebonnet would suck. To downtown it wouldn't be bad.

I drive from north of Zachary and drive to Dutchtown every day.

Livingston by a country mile.
Sorrento, LA is as trashy as East Ascension gets.

This is all correct, but AP is one of the fastest growing parishes and has the best public schools in the state.

There's some places in deep STA and Pville that get pretty trashy. I'd move them ahead of Sorrento

Hence why AP isn’t as trashy. There are a lot of nice places to live in AP, and a fair amount of waterfront. Lower LP is a lot like rural AP, but without the great schools.
