With a heavy heart, we share the news of the closure of our delivery and carryout business. After 15 years of dedicated service, we've made the tough decision to cease operations. We write to you today filled with gratitude for your unwavering support and loyalty throughout our journey.

Thank you for being an integral part of our journey.

Sincerely,
ASAP

I searched on pages 1 and 2 for "ASAP" and saw nothing.

I try my best to not use any of these services (probably less than 5 times total between all the platforms).

I get paying for convenience, but for me, the prices, service and delivery fees are absurd.

I only use it when traveling with no car

But I have friends that will get stuff delivered 2-3 nights a week, blows my mind.

Uber Eats works well most of the time. And they seem to have promo’s with discounts almost every time I order.

The shitty part is putting trust in the (New Orleans) people that pick up and brings you your food

I'm proud to say that I have never used any of these services. I didn't even know that Waitr had changed it's name to ASAP until just now when I googled it

I think I get something delivered maybe once a month. I don't eat out that much, though.

They doubled the fees to the consumers and the commission charged to the restaurants when Fertitta bought it. I went to use it a while back and it would have cost me double the meal price.

A lot of restaurants said ASAP was charging 30% commission so they had to drop it or raise their menu prices on the app only.

At least several Lake Charles baws made a few million from it. Some of their money was in stock options from the buyout but they still got some cash out of it.

I probably would have heard of it and even used it, but no one besides UPS and USPS deliver a damn thing to the sticks.

Used to be Waitr app but they changed a while back to try to save the company. They wanted to become a doordash that would deliver anything instead of just food from restaurants. Restaurants dumped them when they started charging 30% commissions so they tried to pivot instead of lowering their fees.

Waitr for those that don't follow tech companies.

Delivery apps have made things worse, so many companies have just farmed out their deliveries to contractors that don't give a frick.
