If they have a lan IP then I don’t know why they are trying to get a warrant from the telco. The traffic did not go through them for that twitter post.

Such a stupid use of the word. A phobia is an irrational fear of something. Calling someone a name (which he did to himself) doesn't mean you fear the person's status.
And isn't a phobia a medical condition/diagnosis? If so, that's not the fault of the poor person afflicted with it.

The NOPD just reported that although they have not identified Dunlap's level of involvement with sending the tweet, they found multiple dick pic texts that appear to be from Scoot on Dunlap's phone.

If Seth Dunlap had rationally thought about this he would have thrown that telephone into Lake Ponchatrain and bought a new phone with a new number and force the police to put in work.

uh, wouldn't that tweet posted to their account have a date stamp? And since they own that account, giving permission to access the IP address and the corresponding device it originated from should be fairly easy.

That’s called obstruction of justice. Pretty serious crime. But to do this is idiotic to begin with. So to be smart enough to destroy your phone is smarter than he was being anyways. You get a burner and post on Twitter then toss said phone so you don’t get traced.
