I left work at 4 and it wasn't bad. I don't use the interstate in my commute though.

The difference is important:

Downtown NYC is worth fighting traffic to get to.
The inverse is true of BR.

At 1:20pm I was driving to see a customer of mine that is right off of I-10 at the Highland exit. I took Perkins Rd not the interstate. As I passed the state trooper station right there I looked up and saw cars as far as the eye could see. Both exiting off to Highland and headed to Ascension. Brake lights and no one moving. WTF?
