As a Dad, do you feel like your actually raising your kid?

Dad of 4...24, 21, 20, 20 years old.

Tried to be as actively involved as possible. Believe my wife and I provided a solid foundation. Tried to put them in high quality schools, travelled with them a lot and told them we loved them often. All four are really good people.

I foolishly thought that we would be “done with parenting” after they graduated h.s. I still worry about them and provide advice/guidance when appropriate. Transitioning from teenage years to early adulthood can be tricky in terms of how the relationship between us and our kids changes.

I’d love nothing more than to have one more week when they were in the 6-10 year old range.

My four year old son literally thinks I’m a superhero. He certainly believes I’m God’s coolest creation.

I like to think our close relationship right now is shaping who he is becoming as a person.

I do everything for my kids and I wouldn’t have it any other way
