Tell me how that would play out here.
Guy jumps in running car, and you unload into him as he drives away?
Doesn’t have to be immediate, rookie.

Lol, they will charge you with murder. Good luck with a black jury and democrat judge.
This. There's a reason why people resort to 'white flight.' You aren't safe, but you are vilified if you fight back. So you leave and make something better elsewhere.
Eventually the riffraff finishes ruining what they have and then follows the people who made something better elsewhere. Time passes and it all begins again.

The only good I hope comes from these social experiments is increased voter turn out. We've all seen or heard it said 1,000 times, but now we are living it. Elections matter. Voter turn out should be 75% or better moving forward. Sadly, we all know that won't happen. People are self consumed, seek instant gratification, and just don't take the time to get it done.
Dude. What?
LaToya just won re election like a few months ago. No one even challenged her seriously.
They just elected some socialist to run the jails who wants to let all the criminals out and make jail better for them.
No. Just no. The elections aren’t going to change if they didn’t already. The BLM riots were the biggest wake up call you are ever going to get.

That’s not serious unless you can pin him to also being in D.C. on January 6, 2021.

No, that’s been ghetto for a long time - my family always considered Tulane Ave the end of mid city, so maybe gert town? Not sure. But the stores that were there were basically abandoned before Katrina, although we’d shop there when I was a kid.
Can’t believe Costco built there but I guess they thought they’d ‘help’ the neighborhood.
ETA: according to the assessor’s office, Costco is considered in Hollygrove

Probably got the land dirt cheap and got tax credits as well.

There’s always deadly shootings at those “no tell, motels” along Tulane Ave.

Yeah, but that’s not only Orleans Parish, those motels are in Jeff Parish too - like the Texas Motel

The Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office had booked him with two counts of aggravated flight from an officer, illegal possession of stolen things and resisting an officer Aug. 21 and on Sept. 14 an additional charge of armed robbery with a firearm, all in relation to the same incident. On Nov. 10, New Orleans District Attorney Jason Williams's office refused those charges and charged him with a single count of aggravated flight from an officer.
Can this lady file suit against the DA?

Let’s not jump to conclusions on young Tyrese. Why was this man so desperate that he resorted to taking a car without permission? Perhaps we should address the systematic disparities in equity that our communities foster by not making healthy foods available in lower income neighborhoods?
The sad thing is how many people believe exactly that. Not even fringe cases either. DAs in same places have explicitly said they view robberies and break ins as just wealth redistribution.
And when the pendulum begins to swing in the other direction, every millimeter of it will be called racist fascism. That jails are the new concentration camp.

Someone (not black) should carjack and assault this DA and then sue after he throws the book at them

And yet these people are still elected on the reg. How does any decent person live in Nola anymore?
