Maybe Gary's library books were overdue and he needed some money to pay the fines? He asked the older gentleman to spot him $10.00 and the older gentleman slipped while taking out his wallet and busted his head. It's all very logical.

Seems like a problem for LSU and the contractor that they let someone work for them with a very recent criminal record.
how does an employer normally get notified if their employee gets arrested?

And it still wasn’t either of those things. “Very important” people are not strong arm robbing old men in bathrooms.

Robbery season is just starting.

From late October through the Holidays, you can expect similar crimes like this to increase in frequency as well as business robberies.

Christmas demand for gifts approaching, day light savings with earlier darkness, distracted victims loaded with gifts and cash, and just general thug nature all lead to the uptick.

Stay aware of your surroundings and be vigilante. Only going to get worse after November 3.

Perhaps you are correct. And I'm a guy that thinks it's BS that we put people in jail for things like weed but someone that does something like this deserves to pay.

I can see your point here. They aren’t going to run background checks every week.

On the other hand, that arrest happened over a month before the season started. Maybe he got arrested right after he cleared his background check or something.

It seems unlikely that there would be no background check with all of the other security measures at sporting events nowadays.

If you eliminated every applicant for those positions with a criminal record, you’d never be able to staff it. It is incredibly difficult to fill those laborer Positions, let to get a clean record.
